The egg industry meets all consumer needs since 1984. In the past five years, total production of eggs for consumption varied between 1.44 and 1.55 billion units. The share of industrial egg production alone accounts for 1.5 billion units, which represents 93% of total product, while the traditional egg production is estimated at 117 million units which represents about 7% of total product.
